The park is located in Ypsilanti Township, eastern Washtenaw County, Michigan, one mile from Willow Run Airport, and 12 miles from Detroit Metro Airport.

It is well-located in southeastern Michigan in Ypsilanti, being 28 miles west of Detroit and 10 miles east of Ann Arbor. The entrance of the park has direct access to the US-12/M-17 Business Route and is 1 mile from I-94, 6 miles east of US-23, and 8 miles west of I-275.
